My local school, who I did some volunteering for, commissioned me to create a piece to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday. The idea was for all the children to submit a good deed that they’d done and I would take all those good deeds and create an image of the Queen from them. The finished piece was A1 in size and is hanging in the school, although I believe a second print has been made and to be sent to Buckingham Palace. I love the idea that my work has been seen by the Queen, even if only briefly!

A lot of the good deeds are things like “helped with the gardening” or “unloaded the dishwasher”, but there are a couple of funny ones in there for the more observant.
